| Northern PCAP operates within the North Queensland shires of Bowen, Dalrymple, Etheridge, Mareeba, Herberton, Croydon, Carpentaria, Burke, Mornington, Cook, Aurukun and Torres. |

In these shires Northern PCAP supports school communities in improving the educational opportunities, participation, learning outcomes and personal development of rural and isolated primary and secondary school students in both government and non-government schools.The Northern PCAP Program assists schools located in seven Education Queensland Districts, two Catholic Diocesan Offices and one Independent school area. Approximately 8 909 students attend seventy two educational institutions comprising fifty four primary schools, eight P-10 schools, four P-12 schools, three high schools to year twelve, two Distance Education Centres and one Boarding College. |

The Demographic Area of Northern PCAP are the Eastern Coastal Towns and Communities; Lower Gulf; Western Peninsula; Coastal Hinterland and Tableland ; and Torres Straits and Far Northern Peninsula.  |
